Launched in spring 1996, the Baltic 67 was way ahead of her time.
The original philosophy for this project was to produce a very comfortable and high quality cruising yacht that would be lighter aand faster than any other “full interior” yacht of the same size. The comcept was a collaboration between the owner and R&J Design and Baltic Yachts, with Bruce Farr responsible for the naval architecture. The hull was constructed of pre-preg carbon and the rudder, mast and boom were also in carbon.
A unique and elegant cruiser of 20,40 m in overall length with a displacement of 18,500 kg of which 7,100 kg in the bulb. A boat that still amazing for its harmony in cruising. A typical Baltic Yachts distribution of the interior spaces for an hight technology hull in carbon prepreg fabrics.
After more than fifteen years of service and navigations, the owner of the Baltic Vismara 67-01 Filpia decided to put the boat in the care of professionals Vismara, through the program “Braintenance” the Filpia subjected to a careful and painstaking study of all the components to update and modernize.
These efforts have focused primarily on the teak deck now consumed by the use. The second replacement procedure is that of all the hatches with newly developed materials, flush deck, which, besides giving a better aesthetics and updated in the whole bridge, have also contributed to donate a better use of all spaces on board.
